Design of diamond anodes in electrochemical degradation of organic pollutants

چکیده
This mini review summarizes the recent advances that have been conducted toward electrochemical degradation of organic pollutants in aquatic solution on diamond anodes. In particular, first section focuses generation mechanisms reactive species comprising hydroxyl radicals (•OH), sulfate (SO4·−, S2O82−), and active chlorine (Cl2, ClO− etc.) Meanwhile, second is devoted to produce novel efficient anodes improve efficiency. Finally, perspectives prospects electrode materials for wastewater treatment applications are concluded.
